Trent Seybold

Intern

“The only way to do great work is to love what you do” – Steve Jobs

Trent is a second-year intern who gained his first experience in financial planning at Marangola Financial Group during the summer of 2018.  From this experience he saw firsthand, the lasting impact financial planners can have on someone’s life and knew that this was the right profession for him.  In his current role at the firm, Trent is learning the business from the ground up by supporting the office, completing  analysis, documenting processes and learning how to care for clients.

He will graduate in May 2020 from the University of Colorado Boulder.  There, he is pursuing a degree in Finance with an option in Personal Financial Planning.  Through this program, he is acquiring the technical knowledge and skills needed to sit for the Certified Financial Planner® exam.  Upon graduation, Trent will join our team full time.

Trent has known Mike since the age of 10 through his involvement in the Boy Scouts of America.  He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout after restoring the La Jolla Walk-in campground for his Eagle Scout project.  In his free time, you can find him backpacking, skiing, wakeboarding or golfing with friends.  He loves to be active and outside whenever he gets the opportunity.
